He graduated from the california college of podiatric medicine in 1987, and received his post graduate training in the surgical residency program at the new york college of podiatric medicine and affiliated hospitals with postgraduate fellowship at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, Peninsula Hospital in Queens and Saint Barnabas Hospital in New York City.
