RSD works in several directions: EARLY DEVELOPMENT - we help kids to grow and develop to their full potential. MATH – we encourage students to master their mathematical knowledge We invite students of any national or ethnic origin to the International Math Competitions Kangaroo and Russian Bear. RUSSIAN LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND HISTORY - we offer classes which are equivalent to an advanced-level college Russian course. CHILDREN THEATER – we will open the world of Russian Culture RSD is the only Russian school in the state of Texas that • Has developed unique program for teaching the Russian Language for students of all backgrounds • Has got accreditation to teach Russian standards-oriented, advanced-level course and offers AP examination. • Promotes public awareness of the importance of the first years of children development and offers Early Development Program. • Organizes International Mathematical Competitions Kangaroo, Russian Bear • Works with talented and gifted children • Is the home of Children Russian Theater which got awards in the IV Multilingual International Theater Contest • Offers meaningful community service for high school students of all backgrounds • Participates in students Exchange Program • Support Russian orphans
